Purpose & overall Relevance for the Organisation:

• The role of Assistant PR Manager will be to implement the in-house press office strategy across all categories, including sports performance and style. In this role you will also be the lead PR contact for all media requests involving image and sample pulls. You will ensure adidas is recognised as the best in class for media relations, product placement, storytelling and product seeding, ensuring our credibility as innovators in product, design and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support PR Mangers across hero brand moments, product launches & events within the brand calendar
• Assist with media outreach across performance, style, innovation, design, and lifestyle media
• Presence and team support at brand events, product launches and key city calendar events
• Seasonal press preview support x-category
• Provide our in-house analytics and local SEO teams with campaign updates and feedback on a regular basis
• Management and reporting of PLP placement in media titles around campaign launches to improve key word rankings
• Support the management of PR agency always on / project remit and subsequent results
• Assist with PR and social content creation including open source briefing, product coordination and shoot attendance
• Ensure smooth running of all press office department touch points – • Manage all aspects of sample movement, media requests and seeding management X-category
  • Owner of PR showrooms, ensuring all product is fully merchandised and looking best in class at all times
  • Responsible for all PR deliveries / ensuring product is received and allocated to the correct storage areas
  • Manage seasonal sample change over and returning of old product to headquarters
  • Owner of GOK (sized product) ordering/ monitoring x-category
• Oversee and monitor all PR coverage generated in-house influencer tracking, and coordinate team reporting
• Attend sales launch events/ briefings and update PR team on product updates

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience of related work (PR, Communications) within a similar organisation or an agency
• Proven media relations experience and key contacts, preferably across sport, fashion, national media
