Beauty brands TONI&GUY and label.m professional haircare have announced their collaboration with Zhi Chen of the i-am-chen knitwear label. Chen’s pieces will appear in TONI&GUY’s upcoming advertising campaign, as well on the runway.
As part of the partnership, an exclusive, ‘golf-style’ sized umbrella - featuring an eclectic graphic print on the underside of the umbrella taken directly from the AW18 collection, showcases Chen’s playful attitude with a clash of bold orange, blue and patterned panels. The upper surface is matte black coated material, with silver label.m and i-am-chen logos.
As well as the limited-edition umbrella, there will be a complimentary gift with purchase accessory, with special shampoo and conditioner duos from the label.m range where the boxes feature the same contemporary print.
Zhi Chen comments, 'When TONI&GUY approached me about a working together beyond London Fashion Week, I couldn’t believe it. It was exciting to have such a well-known, heritage brand chose my work to feature across so many projects. I really appreciated being supported by the TONI&GUY Session Team backstage for my first show in AW18, the hair was exactly what I was hoping for and I can’t wait to do it again this season.'
The collaboration is now available worldwide from TONI&GUY, essensuals, and label.m Concept salons and online at toniandguy.com and labelm.com, until December. The TONI&GUY advertising campaign featuring i-am-chen and event will launch in October.
