Victoria Beckham Beauty is seeking a PR Intern to support the Global PR team based in London. In this 6 month internship program, you'll be instrumental in supporting our international press operations, working closely with our VP, Communications and PR agencies across key markets. From overseeing stock levels and coordinating send-outs to supporting day-to-day press activities and compiling insightful reports, you'll play an important role in driving our global PR efforts forward.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a true passion for the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock management of the Global Press office, and for PR agencies in key markets
- Ad-hoc international send outs for the Global Communications team
- Assist the Senior Communications Manager and VP of Global Communications in day-to-day press requests, send outs and reporting
- Review and save media coverage from each agency for internal stakeholder reporting
- Compile monthly and new launch global coverage reports for internal reporting
- Assisting the Senior Communications Manager with influencer and press monitoring tools by tracking, saving and monitoring coverage
- Liaise with PR agencies on PR assets, press releases and e-blasts
- Support with and attend launch events, where required
- Oversee an accurate and up-to-date budget and filing system
- Manage Victoria Beckham Beauty’s image library and download press tools and image libraries to share with PR agencies to ensure success
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong creative writing skills preferred
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Support with administrative duties and presentations when required, keeping all documents and folders updated.
- A keen interest in the beauty industry and specifically, consumer press and social media – ensuring knowledge of trends both current and future
- Ability to prioritise and manage time to deliver against deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Must possess excellent attention to detail
- Excellent level of computer literacy in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
