UP Public Relations - PR Senior Account Executive

POSITION PURPOSE
The day to day implementation of PR programs across a portfolio of design and interiors clients. With key areas of responsibility to include: Client management, media relations and support for the wider Design & Interiors team
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assisting implementation of client PR program
- Coordination of client meetings, preparation of agendas, minutes and monthly reports
- Monitoring and reporting on editorial coverage
- Proactively driving press coverage
- Handling press enquiries quickly and efficiently with fantastic attention to detail
- Press release writing, new story sell-ins and outreach
- Delivery of special events, trips and projects
- Media database research & database / list management
- Organising of press mailings
- Maintenance of client image libraries
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALITIES
- 2 years relevant experience
- Educated to degree level
- Motivated and keen to learn and develop
- Good knowledge of all media, contacts with relevant UK media in interiors and lifestyle sector
- A positive and ‘can-do’ attitude and team spirit
- Ability to multitask working across different brands and projects
- A passion for design, interiors and luxury brands
- Excellent communication, copy checking and writing skills
- Strong IT Skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
- An organised self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a small team
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
LOCATION & HOURS
UP Public Relations, 140 China Works, 100 Black Prince Road, London SE1 7SJ
Hours: Monday –Friday 9:30am-6pm.
This role requires attendance at press and industry events outside standard working hours and occasional international travel to visit clients and attend trade events.
