Trinny London seeks a dynamic Communications Manager to significantly expand our brand narrative, driving impactful earned media, shaping corporate reputation, and leading integrated PR/advocacy across the UK, USA, Australia and Ireland.

Responsibilities include leading the PR team and press office, managing agencies, advising Trinny on personal brand alignment, and strategic storytelling. The ideal candidate blends creativity with strategic insight, understands the media landscape, digital culture, and the beauty sector, and can inspire teams and partners for breakthrough communications.

The Role:

Your daily to-dos look like this:

STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS

  • Help to implement the global PR and communications strategy to meet objectives.
  • Work with teams across the company to ensure consistent storytelling and manage PR for campaigns.
  • Keep an eye on industry trends and competitors to help shape the strategy, coming up with creative ideas for new and existing products and brand stories.
  • Support the execution of creative marketing briefs, ensuring brand messaging and objectives are aligned with the marketing team.

    MANAGE PR AGENCIES

  • Strategically direct and manage PR global agencies, with a key focus on the UK, US, IRE, and AU.
  • Be accountable for working with agencies to brand build and execute activations in key territories.
  • Work alongside agency partners to manage and chaperone interviews with key media, reviewing briefing templates, and vetting questions.

MEDIA & INFLUENCER RELATIONS

  • Cultivate high-impact relationships with top-tier beauty, lifestyle, and business media, as well as key opinion leaders and creators.
  • Drive significant coverage and awareness by maintaining high-level press relationships across all territories.
  • Strategically build strong, long-term partnerships with key Editors, influencers, and VIP personalities to secure sustained brand advocacy.
  • Identify fresh, culturally relevant strategies to amplify earned coverage and maximise results.

FOUNDER COMMUNICATIONS

  • Manage the public image, press, and media relations for Trinny Woodall in collaboration with the Head of Communications and Advocacy, ensuring the founder’s personal public appearances align with key brand initiatives.
  • Proactively seek and secure high-level personal profiling opportunities for the founder, including one-to-one interviews with top-tier press, broadcast media, and social platforms.
  • Ensure all personal PR efforts are consistent with Trinny London's overall brand values and business objectives.

TEAM MANAGEMENT AND BUILD

  • Manage a high-performing communications team of two, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Provide decisive leadership and guidance to team members to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Raises ideas, issues and challenges appropriately to influence outcomes and progress.

Who you’ll be working with

You’ll report in to the Head of Communications and Advocacy, be part of the Marketing team, and work closely with the following departments:

  • Creative
  • Digital & Performance Marketing
  • Social & Community
  • Ecommerce

Requirements

These skills will help you go far in this role:

  • Significant experience managing high-impact communications/PR programs.
  • A proven PR leader with strong media relationships.
  • A creative outlook on pitching ideas to the media securing impactful, sales-driving coverage.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to strategically build and leverage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing a high-profile brand founder / brand personality.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team toward achieving strategic goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of the global beauty industry.
  • Full of energy and enthusiasm with a fantastic can-do attitude.
  • Excellent writer with flawless spelling and grammar skills.
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
  • Responds quickly and decisively to changes and amends.
  • An incredible multitasker.
  • Confident in strategically communicating ideas.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Seeks out relevant data and applies technical skills to support effective problem solving
