TRACE Publicity is looking for an energetic and conscientious Beauty Assistant to work within the dedicated Beauty team. TRACE Publicity is a leading London based PR & digital communications agency that works with renowned luxury and designer brands across Fashion & Accessories, Finance alongside Lifestyle, Beauty & Wellness brands.
The successful applicant must show ambition, initiative, creativity and a desire to be part of a dynamic and hard-working team. You must have strong administrative and organisational skills, excellent prioritising and time management and a willingness to learn. Above all, you must show a genuine passion and interest in a broad spectrum of Beauty and Wellbeing clients.
Minimum of 1 year experience within the beauty industry. Agency and/ or in-house experience is essential.
The Beauty Assistant is responsible for the day to day running of sample traffic, media monitoring whilst in charge of the beauty stock room and press coverage tracking, as well as providing essential administrative & dedicated support to the beauty team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily monitoring of newspapers, magazines and websites, scanning for client coverage.
- Overseeing product sample send outs and returns, ensure the beauty press office is well run and organised.
- Managing beauty product stock arrivals and stock control.
- Support at press events.
- Daily liaison with Digital team on beauty product send-outs.
- Administration support.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Experience within the beauty industry
- Ability to be creative
- Knowledge of the health & beauty industry is crucial
- Possess excellent team skills
- Ability to effectively work to deadlines
- Efficient, organised with excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
