The role is located in Dubai and we are looking for an keen account executive to join the fashion and beauty team to support its current clients and help it grow in 2016
Duties
At the top of the list are strong media and influencer relations to secure coverage for our fashion and beauty clients in the UAE and across the GCC region. Other key duties include the drafting press releases, pings and media alerts, supporting the TOH team put on events and inputting on creative ideas for beautiful activations that add value to our clients. Naturally we need you to support on reporting and coverage monitoring to show the client just how successful the fashion and beauty team at TOH PR really is.
Skills and experience
Minimum two years' PR agency experience, trained in the core skills of an AE including writing, media pitching, fashion event planning, managing collections and reporting. Creative thinking is key alongside a solid understanding of the fashion world and also social media. Ability to read, write and speak Arabic is a bonus but not a deal breaker. TOH PR will sponsor your visa but will not cover relocation expenses.
KEY AREAS OF WORK:
- Responsible for creatively delivering client strategies and seasonal work set with the director and team
- Coverage placement
- Relationship management
- Reporting, planning and analysis
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute press, media and digital strategies across clients
- Drive successful projects which meet objectives and timeframes
- Liaise and meet consistently with press and maintain effective relationships
- Full event season responsibilities e.g. press days and fashion week
- Managing showroom appointments, requests and opportunities
- Working closely with other areas of the business, team and management to generate cross- discipline work and deliver against plans and targets
- Manage client relationships and be the day-to-day point of contact
- Execution of client presentations, reports and proposals
- Manage and oversee workloads of interns
EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Minimum 1 ½ to 2 years’ solid experience working with good brands preferably within an agency
- Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of the fashion, lifestyle and entertainment industry
- Strong written skills and media awareness
- Extremely well-organised, methodical and efficient with good time management skills
- Presentable and ambassadorial in nature
- Arabic would be a bonus
- Strategic, dynamic, can do attitude and planned approach to work
- The role reports into the Account Manager and Director
