What You'll Do: As our Junior Social & Digital Editor, you will play a crucial role in our digital presence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Content Creation: Uploading content across the week for The Wedding Edition, ensuring high-quality digital editing.
- Graphic Design: Crafting eye-catching graphics using Canva for our social media platforms.
- Social Media Management: Creating engaging captions for Instagram and Facebook posts, and pinterest scheduling daily posts and stories, and managing our online community.
- Newsletter Creation: Designing and sending out our fabulous newsletters to keep our audience updated and engaged weekly
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Assisting with various tasks such as Post Campaign Reports for our clients, ensuring smooth operations.
Skills and experience required:
- 1-2 years experience working for a digital magazine or platform
- Meticulous attention to detail; excellent grammar, spelling, digital editing experience a bonus
- A good knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and the current landscape across Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest - being able to schedule posts and connect to Linktree
- Experience designing social assets on Canva (or another design tool for social media)
- A visual and creative eye, and passion for the wedding industry a must!
