About The Tape Dispenser

The Tape Dispenser is a curated, supportive platform for nano creators (10K followers or less) to connect, collaborate and grow. We’re redefining what it means to be an influencer by championing everyday creators — building community, offering expert insights and connecting them with brands to create genuine, organic content that makes an impact.

 

Role Overview

As the Partnerships Manager you are the driving force of The Tape Dispenser in terms of comms and sales. You’ll lead the charge in identifying, pitching and securing brand partnerships that align with our mission to empower nano creators and share our values and have a strong multi-category database of existing contacts at brands and organisations to pitch to. You'll manage end-to-end campaign execution, nurture relationships with both creators and brands and foster an engaging, thriving creator community.

 

Key Responsibilities

Brand Partnership Development

  • Proactively research and outreach to brands and agencies that align with The Tape Dispenser’s mission and creator values.
  • Secure paid briefs from brands and organisations to fulfil through The Tape Dispenser on an ongoing basis to ensure a constant stream of output for brands and creators.
  • Pitch The Tape Dispenser to creators as a platform for organic content creation (creator-led) and community led brand advocacy through social strategy working closely with the community manager/social media management team.
  • Educate brands on the value of nano creators and how they can cultivate a long term, loyal community around their products.
  • Further the ways of working with brand partners by introducing opportunities such as intimate events, product testing initiatives and experiential campaigns.

Brand Relationship Management

  • Onboard brand partners and serve as their primary point of contact.
  • Collaborate with brands to co-create creative briefs and campaign objectives.
  • Oversee the entire campaign journey, from brief distribution to content delivery and performance recap.
  • Expand and cultivate a strong network of brands and organisations to spread the word of The Tape Dispenser and ensure a consistent pipeline of work.

Admin and Operations

  • Manage invoicing and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain a new business pipeline, tracking all outreach, follow-ups and opportunities.
  • Contribute to financial forecasting and projection planning for brand partnership revenue.
  • Lead and contribute to pivoting growth with ideation and strategic planning ongoing.

Creator Campaign Coordination

  • Share briefs via the platform in a thorough, communicative and considered manner.
  • Manage logistics including product delivery, communication, content timelines and approvals.
  • Collect content from creators and deliver final assets to brand partners by the deadline.

Community Management

  • Actively participate in and moderate the community feed alongside the social media manager/community manager — spark meaningful conversations, answer questions and encourage peer-to-peer interactions.
  • Introduce new brand partnerships to the community and guide creators through campaign opportunities.
  • Be a friendly, supportive presence that creators can rely on for help, inspiration and collaboration.

Social Media

  • Manage The Tape Dispenser’s social media presence across key platforms with social media manager.
  • Support the strategy for posting creator content and organic content we're tagged in, highlight successful campaigns and keep followers in the loop with platform updates.
  • Support the strategy for managing content calendars and ensure all posts align with our branding, tone and community voice.
  • Support the strategy for collaborating with The Tape Agency on social ideas and content to ensure a “holding hands” alignment across both sides of the business — sharing ideas, themes and purpose where relevant.

  • A social presence that reflects the vibrancy and values of The Tape Dispenser.
  • Maxing out interest and participation in creator briefs — with slots filling quickly and consistently.
  • Healthy brand retention and recurring campaigns with long-term partners.

     

Experience required

  • 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, securing paid social briefs, talent relations, or social media strategy
  • Robust network of contacts from brands and organisations with a particular focus on beauty and food/drink
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets and KPIs
  • Commercially sharp with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
