The Tape Agency is looking to recruit a PR and Communications Assistant working across the agency’s beauty and lifestyle clients.
We are looking for a creative and motivated PR and Communications Assistant to join our small but mighty team in our mission to secure great results for our clients, so we all get to be our most creative and stimulated selves in our work.

The Role:
The Tape Agency is expanding and is looking for a dynamic, fun, joyful and enthusiastic PR and Communications Assistant to support the Beauty and Lifestyle PR and events team and day to day running of a busy office environment. This position is ideal for those with a year of experience in PR and events or robust work experience/internship experience working across beauty and lifestyle brands and social awareness campaigns.
Tape represents a strong group of brands that each have something unique to offer and the agency spans PR, Social, Digital, Broadcast, Podcasting, Influencer, Nano creators and Community building platforms.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Social
- Working closely with founder on leading Tape social including but not limited to
- Content calendar creation and management
- Community engagement
- Content creation across The Tape Agency and The Tape Dispenser (TikTok,
- Instagram/LinkedIn)
- Leading on content ideas and timely trending moments to jump on
- Compiling bi-weekly coverage highlights on social media
- Creating team content and organising calendar and filming/editing time as required
PR
- Day-to-day saving of press cuttings for all clients and monitoring daily industry news
- Day to day management of media and influencer databases
- Collating monthly / weekly coverage reports
- Assisting with coverage generation - e-blasts, pitching etc
- Compiling industry insights to share with the client
- Facilitate and support on media request
- Taking part in team brainstorms
- Working closely with our warehouse to manage send out trackers/send outs and stock levels
- Keeping coverage trackers and send out trackers up to date ongoing
The Tape Dispenser
- Engaging with the community and regularly posting on the main feed on behalf of TTD
- Posting briefings for brands and reviewing and refining those who show interest
- Compiling nano creator selections to client
- Working closely with the warehouse to ensure product is sent out in a timely manner
- Managing questions during live briefs
- Managing content as creators deliver it back
- Compiling content submissions to share with client for sign off

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Willing to get stuck into any activity in a fast-paced environment and do what it takes to get the job done
- Ability to multitask and work across different clients and projects at once
- Creative and quick thinking, with an excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eagerness to master pitching and relationship building with a focus on Beauty Assistants and emerging contacts.
- Confident in reporting, tracking coverage and presenting results clearly and accurately.
- A positive, front-foot, proactive attitude with a willingness to support the wider team and go the extra mile when needed.
The Ideal Candidate
- Work experience or internships in the beauty PR industry
- Ambitious, energetic, self-starter
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- Strong communications skills, written and verbally
- Creative and proactive
- Excellent and passionate working knowledge and interest in social media and influencers
- Experience in and a passion for the beauty, wellness, health and lifestyle landscape
- Exceptional knowledge of the ever-changing media landscape
- The ability to work to and set clear KPIs
- Experience in event production
- Strong press and influencer contacts required
Technical know-how and qualifications:
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, CANVA, PowerPoint, MMI, Trackr, CreatorIQ, Cision, KOLSquare, Lefty, Companion, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Teams/Zoom/Google Meets

- Hybrid working (three days in a co-working space in Soho and two days from home flexibly)
