Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder and CEO, Nicola Kilner.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for an Influencer Marketing, Assistant Manager UK & IRE (The Ordinary) who will support our Communications Senior Manager in the amplification and engagement strategy to grow and nurture our influencer and content creator community. This is a hybrid role based out of our London office.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

• Responsible for overseeing the daily conversations amongst the community, outside of The Ordinary's owned channels, in both a proactive and reactive way
• Manage the nano, micro, mid and macro influencer communities, continually vetting contacts, fostering key relationships and growing databases
• Responsible for seeking out and nurturing The Ordinary community across all major social platforms
• Responsible for highlighting, and sharing with relevant stakeholders, new social platforms of interest, including subcultures and forums. Continually keeping an eye on evolutions of platforms
• Actively seek out and submit products and brands for calendar event goodie bags via talent agencies
• Collate The Ordinary's social communications reports (both activity + secured content), informing relevant team members + external partners
• Inform in-app tactics for community growth, retention and engagement
• Seek out and nurture grassroot communities and seek out and secure brand advocates via affiliation network
• Work with the Global social media team to identify unique UGC-led content per channel to aid audience growth and intrigue
• Ensure communities receive coherent communication for new launches and campaigns
• Responsible for identifying and creating buzz around key calendar date moments with a focus on talent
• Oversee community tools including AWIN and Tribe Dynamics

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• Established relationships with influencers and content creators within the UK and Ireland markets
• Understanding of the beauty industry and consumer sentiment
• Advanced user of all major social media platforms, understanding capabilities, and evolutions in a work environment
• Solid organisational and time management skills, detail-oriented, and ability to focus and work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills both written and oral, and ability to work with all levels of staff and management
• Open-minded and inclusive relishes the idea of communicating with beauty enthusiasts of all backgrounds, gender, and personal style
• Able to work collaboratively, cooperatively, and creatively
