Powered up by our long-term investors Phoenix Asset Management, and with a focus on innovation and digital marketing, we’ve now applied these values to new markets too, bringing one of the UK’s leading wedding planning platforms, Rock My Wedding, to the group, along with lifestyle shopping destination The Homeware Outlet. Our newest venture, LittleList, is set to revolutionise the baby gifting market in 2023.

As Marketing & Content Executive, you will champion one of our wedding gift list brands’ voice across all their assets and all channels. Total brand immersion is pivotal to the success of this role. You will be delivering and executing ideas within multiple projects at the same time to a high standard. A creative individual will thrive in this role helping to shape and develop all aspects of marketing including experimenting and trying new things as well as continuing to develop a proven marketing strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants more responsibility and autonomy in a growing business with a start-up mentality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, manage, and execute social media content. Driving consumer interaction and continuing the success of our social channels as a key driver of registrations and brand awareness
  • Write copy and source imagery for all customer communications
  • Have a great rapport with couples in our social media DMs, maintaining our TOV
  • Execute email marketing campaigns that are in line with our brand and consumer demands
  • Be integral in implementing SEO strategy, growing organic traffic & furthering engagement
  • Create copy, content and supporting graphics for a range of comms including social media, e-marketing, blogs, PR, partners, and website
  • Proofread, edit and re-write copy
  • Create copy that compliments associated imagery
  • Bring our core values to life through creative writing and content
  • Research topics and write creatively and intelligently about the subject
  • Work closely with the rest of the marketing team on the marketing strategy and associated projects
  • Assist with event planning and photoshoots

RELEVANT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a similar role is essential, especially in consumer engagement.
  • Experience with luxury brands would be desirable.
  • Copywriting experience with an excellent standard of written English, alongside the ability to understand and internalise a brand's identity and tone of voice, is essential
  • Experience of using Mail Chimp, content management systems and social media scheduling tools
  • Experience using Canva and Adobe would be desirable.
  • Omni-channel thinking is a must
  • Events experience would be desirable
  • Excellent project management skills; dynamic, structured, organised
  • The ability to thrive in a small team environment and relish the autonomy and opportunity of a broad marketing mix - you must be a team player and be happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit are a must-have
  • You understand the power of communication and how it can engage and excite an audience
  • You can work collaboratively alongside others, are comfortable taking direction, but can also work to your own initiative
  • You are agile and are able to adapt quickly to situations and circumstances

Contract: Full time (5 days a week, Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:30pm)
