SPR is seeking an experienced Beauty and Wellness PR, due to a flurry of exciting account wins, soon to be announced. If you’re a dynamic, hard-working, creative, positive thinker with at least 2 years’ experience with beauty and wellness brands, we’d love to talk. The role is varied and diverse, covering clients across skincare, haircare, high street and online retailers, fragrance, nails, beauty tools, wellness, aesthetics and more.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Handle press enquiries proactively, quickly and with attention to detail.
- Draft content for PR materials including press releases, Q&As and creative pitches.
- Proactive media relations – must have the hunger and desire to drive coverage for clients.
- Draft content for PR materials including press releases, Q&As and creative pitches.
- Support in the concepting and executive PR campaigns, seasonal PR calendars and strategic plans.
- Management of the internal PR calendar.
- Proactively seeks opportunities to meet face to face with key media and influencers.
- Support on creative mailers.
- Aids in the planning and execution of client and agency events and projects.
- Admin support to wider PR team including post, reports and deliveries.
- Manage image bank and ensure all press materials are up to date.
- Day to day support to the wider PR team.
Skills & Requirements:
- Creative thinker who isn’t afraid to speak up and offer ideas and perspectives.
- Have a true passion for the beauty industry, and a want to develop new skills and ways of working.
- Excellent attention to detail and impeccable timekeeping.
- Extensive knowledge of the UK media landscape, including print, online and social.
- Strong relationships with beauty, health, lifestyle press and influencers.
- A positive “can-do” attitude.
- Commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Willing to go the extra mile in a fast-paced environment and do what it takes to get the job done.
- A team-player who is willing to get stuck in.
- Calm and considered under pressure.
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills.
- Takes initiative and communicates clearly and efficiently.
- Strong Microsoft skills including advanced Powerpoint.
- Photoshop experience a plus.
SPR have a happy working ethic, we follow a hybrid model, which includes working from home and office time in our London Bridge location.
