Sparkle PR are seeking an experienced, creative and tenacious Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager to join their fast-paced, boutique agency in East Croydon.

Key Accountabilities

  • Be responsible for developing the social media strategy across all social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and TikTok
  • Monthly execution of creating copy plus managing production of photography and graphics across all channels for a range of health & beauty clients
  • Execution of paid social media advertising and strategy for growth and engagement
  • Strategy and execution of Google Ads
  • Community Management, including evenings and weekends
  • Manage and direct external creative talent on development of assets
  • Weekly influencer outreach and management of the influencer programme across the agency
  • Develop relationships with online influencers and authors of content to promote our products to the relevant demographics
  • Bring new ideas and ways of developing our social media accounts
  • Be able to report on performance. Execution of monthly client reports
  • Act as an in-house social media expert, keeping an eye on trends and ways to improve engagement
  • Keep ahead of new industry trends, both in beauty/health/lifestyle and digital, and provide regular updates to the team
  • Work with PR and Social Media Director to develop highly engaging social media initiatives that build audiences and achieve cut through
  • Analyse the effectiveness of our engagement and social media campaigns to shape the next wave of activity
  • Competitor analysis – keep track of our competitors’ digital presence and their social media performance so you can research, and action change based on emerging trends
  • Support the evaluation of campaigns – by analysing the results and impact of content to help develop future campaigns
  • Produce daily content on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media based on the strategy of each client
  • Ability to adapt tone of voice and content strategy for numerous health & beauty brands
  • Help to drive the engagement of the company’s community on social media, including full community management (including out of hours) answering questions as part of community management, driving discussion and approaching new users
  • Client liaison and account management
  • Build and nurture B2B relationships
  • Management of the Social Media and Outreach Executive and Intern
  • Manage live social from relevant agency events
  • Support in procuring new business

Skills/Experience Required

  • At least 4 years’ experience in a Social Media or Digital Role. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
  • Organised and can work in a fast-paced, busy environment.  
  • Strong editorial and copywriting skills
  • Excellent eye for beauty (and health/lifestyle although not essential) and a strong knowledge of the marketplace
  • Foresight into forthcoming industry trends – both in the UK and international markets
  • Breathe creative flair and have a strong visual sense
  • An interest in design trends and new technologies
  • Be a self-starter with bags of initiative
  • A confident team player who can work with people across all levels of the business and liaise with external contacts and clients
  • Creative, with a keen eye for visual detail and photographic styling
  • A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail
  • A high-level user of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
  • A good working knowledge of different Social Media channels as applicable to different audiences – young, mature, male, young adults etc
  • Examples of the successful execution of briefs worked within available time/budget resource
  • Some awesome examples of engagement online through inspirational social media
  • Excellent command of written English language and attention to detail
  • Genuine passion for social media communities and the opportunities offered by social media sharing and participation
  • Proven track record of success in growing likes and engagement on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media
  • Experience with creating and managing paid content on Facebook and Twitter
  • Hashtag management
  • Brand reputation management
  • Influencer relationships desirable
