PR Executive responsible for contributing to the optimum day-to-day running of all areas of PR across SHEAN COMMUNICATIONS’s portfolio of lifestyle brands. Creative and passionate, working closely with the Founder, the candidate will need to cultivate key organisational skills, media and influencer relationships and ultimately work to drive sales, and maximise business performance for SHEAN COMMUNICATIONS’s roster of brands.
From events, relationship building, and mailers as well as ongoing communication with relevant parties across all platforms – email, social media etc. We’re looking for a motivated individual who’s excited by beauty/wellness and everything we stand for, keen to make their mark in the beauty industry and media/celebrity/VIP/Influencer/KOL network. You’ll have a knowledge of the beauty industry and luxury retail, trends, brand development, and a growing network of industry contacts.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ownership of responding to media on social media platforms following PR activations. Acting as a meaningful use of time to extend network and maintain relationships.
- Managing the inventory and movement of press samples and gifting
- Taking ownership of the media product send out process: strategically identifying the right opportunities.
- Support with content creation across the board - creating UGC content with influencers as well as personally, plus more stylised content via network on media.
- Building and strengthening relationships with growing network of industry contacts: talent, talent agents, stylists, PROs, influencers, KOLS as well as Editors and journalists.
- Pitching newness and product to appropriate network
- Coordinating gifting orders, deliveries and shipments
- Accurately reporting all upcoming press credits and gifting recipients
- Collating clippings and delivering regular media coverage updates to the internal teams
- Proactively assisting in the organisation of PR support across key PR calendar moments
- Build and strengthen relationships with key beauty press across digital and print titles, leading to best-in-class and continual editorial. Also extend beyond beauty, incorporating men’s grooming, wellness, lifestyle, and luxury.
- Take ownership of various outreach pitches, working alongside the Founder. Results should contribute to increased social following, coverage, and conversion.
- Ensure meetings with beauty press and influencers occur on a regular basis, and that you are fully versed on all products from brand story to formulas, ingredients, benefits, USP’s, how-to-use etc.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with top tier titles and journalists
- Build seeding programs to drive awareness and build advocacy.
- Connect clients with like-minded brands and individuals if relevant, with collaborations, partnerships etc in mind.
- Ensure clients are entered into leading and credible industry awards
- Support in generating best-in-class coverage on a continual basis.
- Share coverage with team daily and editorial reports (inclusive of insights, analysis and recommendations), on a monthly basis. Provide bespoke coverage reports for new launches, events and special projects when requested.
