Scamp + Dude - Social Media Manager

Reporting to our head of brand and marketing, our Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing, growing and innovating Scamp & Dude’s current and new social media channels.

They will be in charge of implementing a clear and innovative social media strategy that makes Scamp & Dude stand out within the fashion industry. Savvy about the latest social tricks and trends, our new Social Media Manager will manage the creation and production of all social media content including video and livestreams.

Key Accountabilities

  1. To produce a range of social content aligned to our brand guidelines, including:
    • Producing social content to support tactical campaigns, launches and key seasonal activity
    • Developing social media content to support new brand and product launch campaigns.
    • Creating brand building social content to support charitable initiatives.
    • Creating community-driven social content that is specifically targeted to certain audiences and channels to attract new customers.
  2. Scheduling all content across our existing social media channels including FB, Instagram, Tik Tok and Youtube.
  3. Launching and growing new social media channels including Tik Tok & Pinterest.
  4. Implementing a social commerce strategy to make our social media channels work harder as sales channels.
  5. Working alongside our external Paid Social team to produce targeted and paid-specific social content to support campaigns.
  6. Researching and identifying new social influencers and brand ambassadors to work with.
  7. Creating social media content briefs for all planned paid influencer activity across all channels.
  8. Contributing to new social media content ideas in monthly and quarterly planning sessions.
  9. Writing compelling copy that drives engagement and builds brand credentials
  10. Providing monthly social media reporting across all channels to the wider management team.
  11. Working alongside marketing to head up social activity for all creative campaigns.
  12. Managing social media coverage during key offline company activities including influencer events, photoshoots, and PR launches.
  13. Monitoring new social trends within the beauty and wider industries to produce reactive, viral-worthy content across all social media channels.
  14. Cultivating communities through all social media channels to help grow loyalty and trust.
  15. Working alongside our partners to provide input and strategy for all affiliated social activity.
  16. Monitoring competitor social activity and highlighting opportunities and threats with the wider team.
  17. Responding to social queries as cover to the Customer Services team when required.

The Person:

Essential:

  • beauty or retail.
  • Experience in the management and production of multiple social media channels; Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Pinterest
  • Passionate about the world of fashion and keeping abreast of changes within the industry
  • Extensive knowledge in implementing social media strategies to achieve growth
  • A creative and innovative thinker who has the potential to create viral-worthy social campaigns
  • Ability to analyse and present social media channel performance
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to put the customer at the heart of all we do
  • Proactive and ability to make a difference
  • Flexibility in terms of role to support the wider business
  • Positive attitude with a high level of motivation and initiative who is seeking to grow professionally
  • Understanding of the fashion industry and buying motivators
  • Experience in Retail (ideally fashion)

Full time/but flexible work considered for the right candidate 
Salary based on experience.
