PR & Social Assistant

Fashion brand Scamp & Dude is looking for an energetic, organised, and enthusiastic PR & Social Assistant to support the day to day running of the press office, while providing support to the social team and wider marketing department.

This position is ideal for those looking to work in the retail industry, gain valuable experience within a social first brand, and learn more about how PR, Marketing and social integrate in daily brand communications and activations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of PR with the daily operations of the Press Office, inc media sends, coverage tracking and evaluation, event coordination, influencer engagement
• Responsible for reviewing consumer publications, digital platforms and social media for brand coverage or any relevant retail news
• Work with Head of PR on creation and execution of PR activations
• Coordinate sample rails and returns
• Manage regular update of online press image database
• Manage PR Database and share regular brand/new product updates with target publications/creators to help drive editorial placement
• Liaising with other departments in the business to ensure the smooth running of the press office, including Buying, Creative, Social, Marketing & Retail teams
• Always on approach to researching brand relevant influencers and tastemakers
• Support set up and attend monthly brand IG Lives
• Support Social Media Executive with weekly social content creation
• Support on sample coordination for shoots
• Support on brand / store events and activations as required

The role is five days per week with three days based in our Head Office in Marlow, Bucks.
