The Rodial Group has a rare and exciting position for a new Social Media Assistant to join the business, overseeing both Rodial and Nip+Fab.

Role: Social Media Assistant

Key accountabilities:

• Community management: day-to-day creation and delivery of content across all social media platforms, working with external and in-house design teams, as well as independently 
• Being reactive to news and trends apt for each brand in order to increase social engagement and/or social sales 
• Assisting social media manager in implementing a new social strategy every quarter to increase engagement and social sales 
• Joining social media manager in group content meetings to ensure content on social is aligned with needs across all departments within the busines
• Driving engagement across both brands – working on KPIs set by social media manager for each social media platform 
• Assisting in managing a solid, on-going influencer strategy across both brands 
• Managing relationships with impactful and relevant bloggers and influencers with the social media manager for events and Instagram takeovers 
• Creative input for new product launches and social media-led campaigns for both brands
• Writing engaging social media copy apt for both brands 
• Using social media management tools to ensure a global reach on social media across both brands 
• Monitor responses on social media to aid customer services and web department 

About you: 

• 1+ years social media experience, preferably from online retail or publishing 
• Good knowledge of all social media platforms, keeping on top of industry news and algorithm changes
• Good knowledge of influencers and bloggers, especially within the beauty and entertainment industry
• Excellent communication skills, confident to attend meetings
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment 
• Creative, forward-thinking and always thinking ahead of the game
• Enthusiastic to develop career 
• Basic understanding of Photoshop and video editing is advantageous 

General:

• Develop understanding of social media opportunities in the wider Rodial team
• Contribute to the overall business direction and strategy
• Carry out additional duties when reasonably requested and where necessary within the defined levels of responsibility and accountability of the role

Key Performance Indicators:

• Evidence of keeping abreast of appropriate media and social media trends to suit brand representation
• Achieving trackable successes in the effectiveness of social media coverage through related upturn in results
• Reaching desired audiences and demographics through coverage
• Evidence of strong industry network 
• Quality and timeliness of communication with relevant parties
• Attention to detail regarding day to day low level action points (email’s, internal and external documents, accuracy of reports or other information passed on)
• Achievement of annual objectives Peer relationships Successful resolution of issues
