Redken and Pureology - Social Brand and Content Manager

You will …

Manage the brand social channels and web estate working closely with the marketing, communications education and DMI teams to create content, grow and engage hair and brand fanatics across social and web channels.  You will be report directly into the General Manager

Social Content Management 

  • Develop an integrated brand social strategy across social and owned web channels working closely with marketing, comms and education to create holistic brand social communications plans
  • Manage and create owned channel content with pro community and influencers working closely with the DMI & Comms Team to amplify, measure and increase engagement of UK community and presence
  • Day to day community management and working with comms/corporate comms to handle any crisis management issues 
  • Work with marketing to create influencer led pre-launch sampling and reviews strategies for e-retailers. 
  • Work with comms & marketing team to identify and commission influencers for use in IMC campaigns (content for us on owned and e-retailer channels) 
  • Generating affiliates programme for brand and e-retailers 
  • Run social media competitions, IG and FB Live campaigns to grow engagement and EMV 
  • Identify opportunities for paid media amplification on social channels 
  • Measure, analyse and identify growth opportunities, new ideas and monthly reporting 

Web estate Management 

  • Develop an integrated owned web estate content strategy to grow organic search. 
  • Manage DMI content on site and ensure site is best optimised to impact hair category search traffic 
  • Identify, create and commission SEO articles on hair
  • Creation and cross fertilization with comms on influencer leverage on web estate and in line with social strategy 
  • Liaising with pro influencers and influencers to create interview content, blog posts and general SEO copy. 
  • Measurement of traffic and GA impact 
  • Role includes some management with the PPD digital team on the new back end capabilities; however, this is led by the digital team.
  • Web CRM content creation monthly for B2B & B2C 
  • Increase data capture via increased web traffic. 

Metrics of success

  • Creation of a social plan that demonstrates excellent content production and brand execution to grow engagement and followers on social channels feeding into an increase in EMV results and an increase in organic traffic to web estate. (% growth of followers, engagement rate, organic traffic)  
  • Creation and execution of innovative on-brand creative content ideas working with pro influencer community and social influencers. 
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal team collaboration
  • Delivers plans on time, on brand and on budget 

You will be… 

  • An alternative, creative thinker with excellent understanding of social channels and execution/amplification of social content.  Ideal experience on small, agile, challenger brands. 
  • Experience of creating holistic content strategies and driving them forward independently. 
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing upwards to GM in advising on content strategy and implementing alongside marketing and comms team.   Needs to be able to effectively work with multiple stakeholders across functions, so requires ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. 
  • Experience and knowledge of programmatics and paid amplification 
  • Experience working on content events 
  • A passion, knowledge and experience in hair and beauty brands 
  • Content creation skills including advanced knowledge of latest apps, new social technologies, video production, editing and evidence of creative ideas to drive engagement and awareness often on tight budgets. 
  • Experience of social listening and agile content production based on search trends to impact blog, trend content for website including some basic SEO copy writing skills.  
  • Experience working with and briefing occasionally content production and event agencies. 
  • Understanding and experience of influencer communities, outreach and interest in this area 
  • Excellent written and creative content production skills 
  • •Natural passion for social engagement and a total beauty advocate 
  • Knowledge of competitors
