About the Role

Rainbowwave are looking for a motivated, highly organised & media-savvy Account Executive with a strong interest in fashion to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in PR, gaining hands-on experience working with leading and emerging fashion brands across designer ready-to-wear, & luxury accessories. You’ll play a key role in driving coverage, maintaining strong media relationships, and supporting the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

• Media & Influencer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with fashion editors, stylists, influencers, and key media contacts. Assist in pitching stories, coordinating product placements, and securing coverage in top-tier fashion publications.
• Media & Influencer Support: Assist with press list updates, influencer seeding, gifting logistics, and support on mailer campaigns.
• Sample Management: Oversee product samples and lookbooks, coordinating returns and send-outs for editors, stylists, and influencers.
• Content Creation: Assist with writing press releases, media alerts, social copy, and brand bios.
• Showroom & Event Support: Assist with showroom appointments & help with the planning and execution of seasonal press days.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track & log press coverage and social posts and help prepare client monthly reports.
• Client Support: Help manage day-to-day client communication, prepare meeting agendas, and support account planning.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of PR experience, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or beauty (agency or in-house).
• Strong contacts or knowledge of key UK fashion media and influencers including emerging social talent.
• Passion for storytelling and good awareness of media & fashion trends.
• Excellent writing, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Confident communicator with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
