We are looking for an Account Manager to join our beauty team, working across our portfolio of mass market, masstige and premium brands, providing strategic council to deliver commercially-driven results.

We’re looking for an Account Manager (3+ years’ experience) to manage a portfolio of our Beauty + Wellbeing clients

About you:

  • Strong interest in the beauty and wellness industry with strong knowledge of trends and new brands
  • Excellent communication skills - presentation, verbal and written
  • A passion for the media, including social media
  • Constantly up-to-date with emerging influencers and media landscape
  • Flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation
  • Excellent contacts across beauty and lifestyle press
  • Strong copywriting and marketing mastery
  • Commercially aware and business savvy
  • Good industry knowledge and experience in building influential networks
  • Solid computer prowess and project management skills
  • Outstanding organisation with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios
  • Able to multi-task and outstanding attention to detail
  • Organised with a can-do attitude
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

About the role

As Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and promoting them to their target audiences. An influencer of public opinion, you grow brands and help drive sales through a range of PR tools such as news items, press releases, case studies, product placement, KoL and VIP endorsement and social media activity. You will be the key to shaping your client’s reputation and profile.

You will have strong media relationships, industry knowledge and a passion for beauty and wellbeing, as well as extensive network of influencer contacts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic counsel to clients to aid their PR and wider marketing campaigns.
  • Building relationships with existing and new clients
  • Building relationships with key media contacts
  • Building PuRe’s network of key media, KoLs and influencer contacts
  • Liaising with clients regarding press campaigns, creative projects and PR solutions
  • Liaising with the media, speaking to journalists and influencers
  • Providing innovative and creative ideas to clients
  • Briefing clients and updating them on press campaigns
  • Analysing PR coverage and providing written reports
  • Communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders

Team Management

  • You will meet regularly with your Account Director to assist in planning strategy, discuss opportunities, creative ideas, and relay achievements
  • You will lead team meetings, inspiring and motivating the team to collectively achieve our client goals
  • Manage and mentor junior members of staff
  • Ensure that your team discharges their duties in a responsible, timely and professional manner, in particular to ensure that all admin is achieved
  • Monitor and assess junior team members’ performance and feedback to your Account Director

Client Management & Relations

  • Develop and maintain good client relations at all times
  • Act as the day to day point of contact for clients (with the support of your Account Director)
  • Regularly update clients on activity / maintain contact
  • Meet clients regularly, as required and ensure all relevant materials are prepared for each meeting
  • Lead client meetings with support of your Account Director / Senior Account Manager
  • Demonstrate a suitable level of experience to attend client meetings by yourself when required
  • Secure regular press and influencer coverage across all your accounts on an ongoing basis
  • Identify new media and opportunities via key media outlets and platforms
  • Write quality, engaging and grammatically correct media materials
  • Identify trends, creative feature angles and orchestrate brainstorms in which you bring creative ideas
