Mission: 

To drive brand awareness and engagement with a digital focus on our core brands.

Execute the annual communications and influencer strategy with guidance from Senior Communications Manager, in order to increase EMV, digital PR rankings and engagement across any social campaigns and to drive brand love and awareness. 

Drive digital engagement through UK influencer and social programmes. You will support local social content creation whilst working closely with wider global and UK Brand teams. 

Approach the role with a highly collaborative attitude with a thirst for learning and an insatiable curiosity about the beauty market in the UK and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Senior Manager, working to achieve annual editorial coverage KPIs - Print & digital and the department’s key objectives – drive sales, brand awareness and talkability (buzz on counter) 
  • Execution of PR and communications initiatives, including product launches and strategic events cross department and cross function; responsible for key product launches and draft proposals for relevant UK projects 
  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with press and influencers, take ownership of relationships to ensure strong share of voice 
  • Day to day management of press office including coverage monitoring and reporting, dealing with day to day press enquiries, coordinating all press release and product mailings 
  • Write local press releases/e-blasts to a standard that reflects the image of brands as per global toolkits, researching and using awareness of the media to come up with original hooks 
  • Partner with key stakeholders, including marketing, education and commercial teams to drive synergy and to ensure alignment on all campaigns 
  • Working closely with the Senior Communications Manager to devise Digital Engagement strategy and implementation plan in line with UK and global priorities 
  • Implement a key engagement program on quality and reach with strong creative ideas to address an ever changing environment 
  • Work alongside Lefty to build and implement an ongoing metric reporting to influence decision making by monitoring and evaluating the efficiency, to continue to drive organic digital content, reach and image for the brands wherever feasible
  • Responsible for creating internal initiative One Pagers, Close Out reports and sharing best of press internally with guidance from wider communications team
  • Management and development of a direct report, setting their objectives in line with the strategic direction of the department

Experience: 

  • Experience in fragrance/beauty/make-up PR is essential
  • A passion for PR and a love of UK media landscape 
  • Well-connected in the industry and demonstrable relationship with the fragrance and beauty community as well as traditional media

Education:

  • Educated to graduate degree level 

Languages:

  • English 

Competencies:

  • Self-starter able to work autonomously, driving momentum on multiple projects and proactively planning ahead
  • Highly organised with prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Collaborative team player, with strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • At ease dealing with complexity and ambiguity
  • Sensitivity to luxury and good attention to detail
