Role: Beauty PR Assistant supporting the Profile PR team in day-to-day office work and events.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute creative ideas in brainstorming sessions
- Provide assistance in organising and executing PR events for our clients
- Design, copyright and proofread PR content such as press releases, newsletters, presentations and social media posts
- Shoot, edit and post content for client social media channels
- Create targeted press and influencer lists for brand campaigns
- Complete gifting mail-outs to influencers and press
- Daily Post Office trips to mail out PR packages
- Build long-term relationships with press, influencers and other key figures
- Track and clip client coverage in print, digital and social media
- Organise and create client coverage reports monthly
- Assist in the running of the product sample cupboard
- Various administrative tasks such as replying to emails, messages and calls
- Maintaining an up-to-date and comprehensive database of press and influencers
- Managing receipts and day-to-day outgoings such as Post Office transactions, online purchases for mailers, transport, etc.
Candidate Requirements
- Based in London
- Good working knowledge of PR concepts and best practices.
- Familiarity with video content production and editing.
- Awareness of the UK media landscape; print, digital press outlets and social media.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
- Experience with social media platforms.
- Outstanding computer skills, including experience with databases and design software such as Canva.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Eagerness to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and methods.
- An understanding that publicity is not always a 9-5 role and the ability to attend evening events on occasion with advance notice.
Hours: minimum 3 days per weeks
Salary: dependent on experience
