Fashion/Innovations communications agency, PLATFORM CREATIVE is hiring a Junior Account Executive (Fashion & Lifestyle) - Maternity Cover.
The role will involve effectively assisting your department in the development and implementation of strategic and results driven PR and communications plans across fashion and lifestyle brands. Effectively developing and driving innovative and strategic communications plans and activities.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Director and the Account Executive, you will assist in gaining quality editorial coverage for those clients you are allocated.
The role will involve the following duties:
- To generate press for clients across corporate, consumer, national, regional, social, online, trade, and international media.
- To ensure the correct process is adhered to for media enquiries that is consistent across the key business areas and delivers an excellent, thorough and timely service to journalists in response to their enquiries.
- To be agile and flexible to respond to new opportunities and changing business needs and priorities.
- To practice client-centric thinking to drive for continual improvement and self-development within a collaborative and motivated team environment.
- To generate new business to grow and develop your department.
Requirements:
- The chosen candidate will have fantastic people skills and phone skills liaising with Editors and stylists. A history of working across PR accounts. Experience building big brand strategy, managing budgets, implementing processes, securing coverage and working with ambassadors is key.
- Your planning and organizational skills should be of the highest standard, as well as the ability to work in a fast paced field.
- Presentation and selling skills for an Account Executive should be of the highest order and you should bring creativity and a solutions-led approach to your role.
- Someone who is passionate about PR and has long term industry goals.
- Someone who is driven and has a sunny disposition that with fit with a small and target driven team.
