Role: PR & Influencer Marketing Manager
Responsible to: Senior PR & Influencer Marketing Manager
Location: Head office in Uxbridge (c2 days a week but may vary)/ Remote working
Hours: 5 days PW

Introduction:

We are recruiting for a Textured Hair Champion to join our passionate and high-performing Cantu team.

Cantu is the UK’s leading brand for textured hair, with an award-winning collection of haircare products carefully curated for curls, coils and waves. Developed nearly 20 years ago, Cantu is now part of PDC Brands and continues to be Black-led across our teams.

We pride ourselves on our expertise, and our understanding of our community’s needs by developing ranges that cater for all textured haircare types which are trusted to work and deliver results.

Summary:

The PR & Influencer Marketing Manager will work alongside and assist the Senior PR & Influencer Marketing Manager to support the delivery of initiatives that meets the PR strategy for our textured hair care brand Cantu.

Responsibilities:

1. PR strategy
2. Budget management
3. Press, influencer and relevant stakeholder relations
4. End-to-end management of PR activation:

• Events (drop-in, dinner, evenings and overnight).
• Gifted mailers
• Influencer marketing

5. Press office
6. General Support

The Ideal Candidate:

1. At least 5 years’ experience in public relations which includes:

• Demonstrable strong relationships with contacts in hair styling industry (e.g. press, influencers, hair stylists, agents)
• Demonstrating how PR initiatives they have managed have worked as part of a wider communications campaign
• Event planning experience
• Influencer marketing experience
• Demonstrable knowledge of key players on social media

2. Although this is not a line management role, experience of assigning work to support level team members and supporting their workload
3. Excellent relationship building abilities
4. Experience managing and executing multiple activities
5. Excellent written and presentations skills
6. Excellent attention to detail
7. Proactive and a team player
