We are looking for a travel PR specialist based in London, to play a pivotal role in our Brand and Marketing team on a one year contract from September 2022. The Global PR and Communications Manager is responsible for promoting and protecting the onefinestay brand to the outside world, with a focus on the U.S. and UK, whilst supporting content creation and driving revenue.

The mandate of the Brand & Marketing team is to communicate our unique brand story, dramatically transform the visibility of onefinestay with our global target audiences of homeowners, leisure and non-leisure guests, and hit booking targets. The right person for this role is a commercially-driven, smart, motivated team player who will support this mandate with a flair for storytelling and a creative approach to communications.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy: Oversee the Global PR Strategy that supports brand priorities and campaigns, managing two PR agencies
• Storytelling: identify and create compelling angles that drive coverage in target publications
• Tracking and reporting: You’ll be responsible for the measurement and reporting of PR activity, hitting the KPIs set in the Global PR Strategy
• Generating coverage in Tier 1 publications
• Maitaining existing relationships with top tier media and fostering new media ‘friends of the brand’
• Increasing onefinestay’s share of voice against competitors
• Brokering and coordinating media and influencer visits
• Hitting bookings targets
• Overseeing quarterly reporting
• Media & influencer relations: working with our PR agency partners, you’ll maintain and maximise current media relationships and build new ones with key media globally, with a focus on the UK and U.S
• Agency management: you will manage two PR agencies in the UK and U.S., ensuring they are briefed on the company objectives and initiatives and deliver results that impact the bottom line and drive ROI
• Brand partnerships: you’ll actively identify and develop appropriate brands for cross promotion and commercial partnerships, then execute on those partnerships
• Influencer and celebrity work: you’ll identify and collaborate with target influencers and celebrities on a reactive and proactive basis, negotiating deliverables and contracts
• Budget management: You will oversee and track the PR and paid media budgets
• Press stays and events: you will organise media and influencer stays in our homes and villas, as well as plan and manage PR events (virtual and in-person) in support of overarching communications objectives
• Sponsorship opportunities: advise and coordinate on appropriate sponsorship opportunities

Requirements:

• Minimum of six years’ Travel PR experience; agency experience a plus (Account Director role, or similar) or experience managing global PR agencies
• Experience with luxury and/or private rental/villa sectors a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluency in written and spoken English)
• A self-starter with the ability to independently develop and execute on a strategy
• Confident working alongside and advising senior leadership
• Experience managing multiple channel budgets
• Experience in working across multiple countries or markets
• Enjoy being part of a small team, and have an ability to work and lead cross functionally
• Knowledge of the US and UK media landscapes, with existing media and influencer relationships
• Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom

Key information:

• This is a one-year maternity contract cover
• Start date early-mid September
• The candidate would ideally be based commutable distance to onefinestay’s central London office (Paddington) and available to attend the office at least two days per week
• Be available occasionally on evenings and weekends to attend events on behalf of the brand
