Mission:

The Communications Manager will be responsible for executing the UK and Ireland Communications strategy, in line with the Global strategies for the ORVEON brands. Managing an agency, you will maintain and cultivate key influencer and media relationships to keep the brands front of mind with these groups and ultimately with consumers; increasing brand awareness, affinity, engagement and ultimately driving sales and maximising business performance.

Main Responsibilities

• Together with the Global Communications Team, create, develop, manage and ensure Agency implementation of plans that support growth with a focus on Digital and Social Media, aligning to the global PR and Communications strategies. Both NPD and always-on core support are key
• Manage the PR and Communication budget;
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with influencers to increase brand reach, awareness and engagement that leads to advocacy
• Deliver excellent influencer placements for new product launches as well as core products and brand building features across all media outlets
• Focusing on Influencer, work with the Agency to pitch stories and develop alternate methods of outreach using creative mindset and tools to support key messages to maximize opportunities and placements for the brand
• Identify third party business opportunities and sponsorships that help drive awareness of the brands and help maximize business performance
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with retailer, ecommerce PR and social contacts to identify media and business opportunities
• Seek and develop new brand partnerships that help drive awareness and key messaging

Administration

• Be the PR lead at key internal meetings such as quarterly brand reviews, weekly leadership team meetings and Global PR team calls
• Disseminate PR and Communications strategy and objectives to the wider team, aligning with key departments to ensure a 360 plan is delivered
• Track, monitor and analyse brand performance and publicity in media outlets; execute internal communication of media placements to UK, Global and EMEA HQ teams
• Be responsible for all contracts of services, negotiate on behalf of the brand
• Support the wider team with PR input for both internal training sessions and external strategy meetings

People

• Manage and own the relationship with the Agency.
• Track all paid influencer partnership activity with understanding of best performers based on KPIs, ROI to make recommendations for future activity and partnerships.

• Must have PR experience within beauty
• Experience of Agency Management
• Strong beauty editorial contacts
• Experience of cultivating key media and influencer relationships
• Experience organising and managing events
• Excellent communication skills required including writing and editing.
• Strong presentation skills
• Experience of managing and influencing internal stakeholders
• Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
• Excellent analytical skills to define ROI on PR activity
• Passion and energy to support and communicate the brand ethos, philosophy and market positioning
• Experience of working with retailers in department store channels, distributors and e-commerce channels
• Experience of working with sponsorships and branding events
• Working knowledge of industry trends
