The Digital Style Writer will be responsible for consistently conceiving creative, cutting-edge, compelling fashion and beauty articles for ok.co.uk.  If you are a first class writer with a true passion for all things fashion and beauty, then this is the role for you.

We’re looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives from people from a wide range of backgrounds, and we want you to tell us the stories you believe are important from our many communities so we can continue to diversify our content.

We are Reach Plc, you might not have heard of us but we have probably met without you even realising it. We are home to the UK and Ireland’s most iconic digital platforms, magazines and newspapers. This role is home based and we are therefore open to candidates based across the UK.

What will the role involve?

• Writing engaging and cutting edge fashion and beauty articles at pace that suit the voice and vision of the OK! Brand
• Being vigilant on social media platforms, ensuring you bring new, inspiring daily ideas
• Interviewing celebrities/industry experts and pitching exclusive ideas 
• Acting as a brand ambassador for OK!
• Collaborating with members of the fashion and beauty hub 
• The role is shift-work, with regular evenings and weekends required

Who are we looking for?

• A first-class writer who is adept across a wide range of topics, with emphasis on digital writing, who is currently working as a reporter in magazines, newspapers or digital 
• Someone who is just as capable of writing attention-grabbing headlines as they are engaging copy
• A passion for the fashion and beauty industry and ideally experience with working in this area
• Experience working in a fast paced print or online department with a track record of producing innovative content
• A high level of professionalism required and an exceptional attention to detail
• The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively, with excellent diary management
• Someone who can  work self-sufficiently, generating their own beauty and fashion stories and contribute stories to the daily news list
• Previous digital experience is essential, although full training will be provided
