As our Social Media Community Manager you will join our newly formed Global Customer Experience team. Acting as the brand's voice across globally owned and earned social and digital channels you will be key in proactively finding and nurturing new, authentic conversations and communities. Generating conversation and engaging with earned brand and category interactions to drive brand awareness, SOV and EMV.

The successful candidate will lead Medik8’s global awareness Influencer partnerships and relationship management. As well as having a natural affinity for first-class customer experience and be social-media obsessed with their finger closely on the pulse of the cosmeceutical / skincare social space and emerging digital trends.

This role will make a significant contribution to our ambitious global journey. Playing a key role in driving worldwide brand growth, you will own and drive the social voice on and off camera for one of the most innovative and conscious brands on the market!

In more detail your role will include:

  • Working with the Global Head of Communications to set the strategy for Community growth that drives reach and engagement.
  • Acting as the brand face and voice on social media, proactively engaging and replying to earned interactions, stitching and repurposing content
  • Leading the Global Influencer Marketing vision, delivering end-to-end paid influencer campaigns and viral activations for always-on aspirational awareness content
  • Making data-led decisions with your knowledge of the industry to identify and source the best global influencer partnerships for Medik8 - fully tracking and reporting on all campaigns to deliver clear ROI
  • Establish best practices for International markets, inspiring regions to build their own partnership programmes while uncovering cross-country relevant creators to work with on a global scale
  • Always-on relationship building with new and established global Influencer and KOL contacts, unlocking and cultivating brand ambassadors to maximise relevancy
  • Being the eyes, ears and voice of Medik8, you will be responsible for finding and nurturing our social and digital communities, proactively generating, responding and engaging with earned interactions
  • Identifying and flagging potential content/trends for the social teams to react to and repurpose across channels
  • Lead first-class authentic customer conversations across platforms, winning in speed and personalisation to build brand loyalty, equity and value
  • Build and lead the social advocacy strategy, turning fans into brand advocates
  • Uncover and build new communities to engage with, increasing brand and product awareness amongst target audiences being the first touchpoint for new followers
  • Utilising social listening tools and platform insights to monitor and report on community trending topics and customer engagement insights to identify growth opportunities
  • Support global territories to aid growth in multiple markets across platforms
  • Work closely with the social and customer experience teams to ensure a social-first approach to boost customer interactions, conversions and sales

We would love to hear from you if you..

  • You have 3 years in-house or agency experience in influencer management contracting and/or customer experience on social platforms or community management experience with excellent attention to detail
  • You are comfortable to be in front as well as behind the camera and have a strong knowledge of TikTok and are obsessed with social media
  • You are customer centric and have a natural ability to connect and create meaningful conversations and engaging responses
  • Excellent communication skills that are aligned to the brands tone of voice
  • Experience of working with Social listening tools (such as Sprout and Tribe).
  • Strong knowledge of social media best practice principles
  • An innate understanding of the premium skincare space
  • Strong knowledge of all social channels’ workings with particular reference to TikTok and Instagram
  • Positive, proactive and a self-starting always-on attitude
