THE ROLE:

Maybelline is seeking a dynamic, experienced, innovative Integrated Marketing Communications Manager to support and shape the future success of our brand. The role reports into our Maybelline Marketing Director and is responsible for;

IMC STRATEGY & BUDGET MANAGEMENT  

  • Own & continuously optimize the digital strategy as an integrated part of the overall communication strategy developed by the Marketing director
  • Work with the Marketing Director and GPMs to develop and deliver IMC campaigns that encompass media and influencer relations, digital communications and social media strategy
  • Manage all components of IMC campaign development, implementation and measurement.
  • Manage the digital investment space in the media plan and collaborate with Maxus and other partner agencies (facebook, instagram) and the CMO team to integrate the latest thinking and innovation

INFLUENCER MANAGEMENT 

  • Form and maintain excellent relationships with key influencers e.g. editors, vloggers, bloggers and desired communication outlets to up-weight brand penetration and SOV
  • Deliver plans for securing and utilizing celebrity, spokes models driving fashion/style/ music/lifestyle expert credentials
  • Assist the marketing director in Managing and maximizing VIP brand ambassador/celebrity relationships and schedules
  • Effectively manage the in-house press office/social media function and develop long term relationships with senior press contacts and influencers including celebrities, agents, HMU artists and industry contacts

BUILD BRAND EQUITY 

  • Build anticipation and excitement for product launches and brand activity across all communication channels owned, earned and paid
  • Plan, generate, tailor and syndicate compelling editorial content that helps to increase brand engagement and influence positive branded social discussions
  • Take the lead on any online crisis management working with the GM, marketing directors and corporate communication. Positively influence any damaging branded social discussions

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Alongside experience in a similar role and excellent management & communication skills, you should be confident demonstrating all of the following:

  • Exemplary presentation, editing, networking, event management skills
  • Motivated, creative and pro-active
  • Excellent press and influencer contacts
  • Proven experience in PR communication strategy development and management
  • Strong creative flair, ability to provide insight, resilience, willingness to learn, ability to challenge – with win/win outcomes, commercial awareness and business focus
  • The ability to influence and gain buy-in effectively at all levels
  • Is creative, provides insight, resilience, willingness to learn, ability to challenge – with win/win outcomes, commercial awareness and business focus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently ensuring that regular updates are provided to key stakeholders
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change
