The Role

KMI Brands is looking for a creative, talented and passionate PR and Marketing Executive to work across UK and global PR and Marketing for Ted Baker beauty, fragrance, grooming and home fragrance. The role will involve developing, implementing, reporting and analysing strategic PR and Marketing plans to drive increased brand awareness and sales.

The role will involve:

• Supporting the marketing team with the creation of global brand tool box PR and consumer material templates (press releases, print ads, digital banners, printed collateral and POS material)
• Working closely with the Ted Baker and Boots teams to drive social media support and influencer programmes to promote the exclusive toiletries collection for both the UK and Gulf
• Executing selected marketing activities across POS, sampling and consumer event channels 
• Supporting the PR Manager on both UK and international PR campaigns 
• Working alongside the PR Manager to organise press events and PR mailers for new product launches 
• Providing copywriting support for press releases, articles and quotes
• Sending out seasonal e-shots to target press and influencers for new and existing products to drive PR coverage
• Supporting the PR Manager with editorial and paid-for influencer campaigns for new product launches 
• Entering individual Ted Baker products and collections for relevant consumer awards 
• Monitoring and evaluating ROI following marketing and PR activity 
• Tracking quarterly PR results for Ted Baker across the categories via the coverage tracker and press books 
• Inputting into retailer sell-in presentations as and when required 
• Managing budget spend on selected projects and being responsible for keeping the general PR spend tracker updated 
• Working with different departments within KMI (brand, commercial, operations, finance) and keeping them updated on PR and Marketing activity via cross-functional meetings and team briefs 
• Monitoring industry news and competitor brand activity to update the Marketing and PR team as well as the wider KMI business 
• Managing the PR stock across Ted Baker and liaising with the Ted Baker business unit to ensure PR samples arrive on time and in the correct quantities
• Strengthening relationships with Ted Baker head office via regular contact and face to face update meetings
• Establishing strong relationships with target press and influencers across the beauty, fragrance, home, lifestyle and grooming sectors 
• Monitoring and logging all PR coverage 
• Providing reactive press office support for samples and images to drive PR coverage 
• Coordinating sample send outs to target press and influencers as well as larger scale PR mailers
