We now have an opportunity for a proactive, career-driven and creative Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of our clients from the beauty, health and wellbeing sectors, providing frequent senior client counsel, devising strong strategies and setting and meeting KPIs across your clients, as well as being involved in new business development.
• You will need to illustrate a proven track record of working in these areas, have an excellent breadth of senior influencer contacts spanning press/media, social media and wider stakeholders. Good writing and presentation skills a must, together with blended experience in social media and digital marketing. This would suit someone with a strong entrepreneurial outlook, tenacious and proactive, with a passion for the beauty and wellbeing industry.
• Given the events of 2020, a flexible and adaptable nature is vital as is the ability to think on your feet and turn any situation in to a positive. You will initially be required to work from home, with regular face-to-face team meetings in central London.

Client Management:

• Giving senior client counsel
• Leading client meetings and conference calls
• Developing good working relationships with each client
• Managing your client teams internally
• Overseeing the completion of monthly status reports
• Monitoring and maintaining KPI’s for your brands
• Ensuring monthly client meeting takes place

Media Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing exceptional media contacts across all relevant platforms to ensure great coverage
• Creation and execution of stand-out activations to fulfil client goals and KPIs
• Securing coverage via pro-active pitching to a wide range of press – including news and feature placements
• Running press events (IRL and online) and managing the debrief process
• Responding to relevant media enquiries and delegating where appropriate
• Monitoring all relevant media – across newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcast and blogs

Management:

• Line Manager for junior team members
• Running regular internal ‘to do’ meetings with relevant account teams and attending regular Manager meetings
• Provision of feedback for performance reviews
• Attendance at performance reviews
• Assistance in recruitment process within the agency

Day to day:

• Creating brand plans and strategy
• Strong writing skills (press releases; copy; captions; presentations; reports; plans)
• Working closely with the Digital Division at Kilpatrick to provide a 360° approach
• Keeping up to date industry-wise, with relevant product knowledge and competitor activity
• Overseeing promotional activities per client
• Overseeing evaluation on each campaign
• Managing client budget trackers, ensuring all activity runs to budget

Additional Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and actioning new business leads
• Regular networking within the beauty industry
• Working on, leading and attending new business pitches
• Representing, seeking opportunities, negotiating and sealing deals for our small, concise roster of experts

Notes:

• This is a full-time role starting January 2021. Salary will be dependent on previous experience.
