Kair - Social + Content Marketing Executive

Kair is a premium clothing care brand which launched in June 2021.

We’re re-imagining laundry, and we’re on a mission to help fashion lovers worldwide take proper care of their favourite clothes. We know that the right fabric care can be transformative, and are infusing sumptuous luxury scents to bring joy to that “just washed” moment.  Founded by Net-a-Porter, Google & Glossier alumnus Sally Hughes, Kair completed an oversubscribed seed funding round from leading consumer investors.

Kair is recruiting a social and content marketing manager, reporting to our Brand Marketing & Communications Lead. You’ll play a unique role in the creation of a game-changing consumer brand from the very beginning, transforming the perception of this overlooked category with style and community at the heart of your work. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a high-potential start-up at the ground floor, be highly entrepreneurial and be rewarded with true ownership. 

What you’ll do

  • Own the day-to-day planning, approvals by Senior Leadership team and publishing of social content across all owned social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook)
  • Content creation: produce engaging, shareable content for use across our owned channels; developing a consistent pipeline of assets and effectively incorporating UGC (inspiring UGC creation, and incorporating UGC in owned channels)
  • Engage with our social community as their first port of call; with your finger firmly on the pulse of what our customers are saying and asking, share community data and insights to the wider business 
  • Day-to-day marketing office management: content sourcing for CRM & Blog; managing send-outs; press & brand days, partnership launches
  • Build and maintain working relationships with influencers and ambassadors in each of our core communities (fashion, fitness and home) 
  • Own all influencer and ambassador outreach, gifting and affiliate opportunities; research up-and-coming influencers, and develop ideas on how to attract and engage with them, with a goal of driving community growth (reach) and authentic recommendation 
  • Report on campaign performance and share insights on a regular basis in order to optimise results

Who you are

  • You have at least 2 years of professional experience in social media or community management roles - ideally in the fashion, beauty, consumer or start-up worlds
  • You have experience working with influencers and brand ambassadors
  • You have a deep understanding of social media best practices and trends
  • You’re passionate about writing, with strong editorial skills and a great storyteller, with the ability to produce engaging copy in-line with brand guidelines
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite (to create assets from established design templates)
  • You’re passionate about fashion and sustainability, and you’re excited by the opportunity to build a category-defining brand
  • You’re renowned for your attention to detail (and you may even be a paid-up member of the grammar police!)
  • Exceptionally organised and able to manage many moving parts effectively
  • You’re hands-on and just as happy rolling up your sleeves to execute as you are to see the bigger picture
  • You take the initiative. You're enterprising and can think on your feet - no problem is too great or small for you to tackle head-on
  • You’re excited to work in a startup environment: you’re comfortable adapting quickly to change; self-motivated and proactive; very ready to roll up your sleeves, learn at rapid pace and swim outside your lane when needed We’ll give you bonus points for:
  • Experience with photography and videography, or graphic design
  • Experience in a start-up or dynamic, high growth environment
