JOANNA JEFFREYS is a tight-knit team that offers bespoke creative PR & communications services across a roster of emerging luxury beauty, wellness, fashion and lifestyle brands. We are looking for a hardworking, proactive, and creative Junior PR Manager with a hunger to grow, and minimum of 2-3 years’ PR agency experience to join our small but mighty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team to elevate and drive awareness and success for the clients, including ilāpothecary, Dr. LEVY Switzerland, Shleep, Gentil, Skin Matters, MAHSA & The Nejati Clinic, CAMILLA.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Communications Director you will support the team in managing the portfolio of beauty, wellness, fashion & lifestyle brands, ensuring effective day-to-day running of the press office, aligning with wider brand strategies and timelines
• Responsible for coverage monitoring and tracking with the junior team and ensure accurate reporting to both the senior team and clients.
• Ensure a timely response to media enquiries across press office and influencer functions
• Manage client assets including press releases, founder profiles/bios and presentations across brand and seasonal launches
• Build upon key client relationships and establish as the day-to-day point of contact
• Identify seasonal and key calendar dates utilising platforms such as Influencer Intelligence and Diary Directory
• Keep a calendar of relevant awards and then communicate to clients
• Work with the SAE to manage press, influencer, MUA and VIP databases, ensuring they are consistently kept up to date and relevant
• Work with the SAE to manage and execute influencer seeding and creation of mailing lists, researching and identifying new and relevant influencers that align with the brands
• Work with the SAE to compile monthly and ad-hoc reports for clients by inputting coverage and activity updates
• Regularly create engaging and interesting press releases, e-blasts, pitches and other PR materials to successfully generate media coverage for brands
• Proactive and consistent media outreach and pitching brand and product stories, tapping into relevant seasons and trends
• Maintain, build and lean on key media, influencer, MUA and VIP contacts, nurturing genuine relationships
• Own influencer partnerships including negotiations and contracts
• Work with the SAE on the management of stock and organising product send-outs & mailings
• Support the team with brand events, activations, creative mailers and other relevant projects, from planning, execution and hosting
• Attend client meetings with The Founder and compile agenda/notes to circulate in a timely manner
• Stay updated and contribute to the wider team on the latest trending ideas, fashion, beauty, wellness trends and industry news, keeping a pulse on competitor activity
• Working with the SAE on the management of company Instagram and ad-hoc updates to website

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years’ agency experience in fashion/beauty/wellness/lifestyle PR essential
• Strong understanding of the fashion, beauty and wellness industry, with existing contacts
• Ambitious and motivated, with a genuine passion for the beauty, wellness, lifestyle and fashion industries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to detail and experience in creating releases
• Highly creative with a flair for designing/artworking eye-catching assets
• Personable and professional approach to client and media relations
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Proactive and dynamic with an approachable and nimble approach to work
• Honest with great integrity, able to work independently as well as being a great team player
• Experience with Canva, Keynote, Outlook and Google Docs

Salary – Dependent on experience
