Jo Malone London is recruiting for a Global Social Media Assistant Manager
They will be responsible for organising key functions and operations of the Global Social Media Team. From acting as a liaison with regions, to implementing and managing global social campaigns. The Global Social Media Assistant Manager will be responsible for helping to drive success of the brand’s social activities globally and in key markets, while ensuring we are delivering strong KPIs and growth across our all social platforms.
This is a key role within a very fast paced and changing environment; multi-tasking whilst maintaining a strong, strategic and holistic overview of markets, the brand and world of social media is critical to success. A proven track record working within a global team is also required as the role will be working closely across all markets.
The successful candidate will have a background in social media; preferably within the luxury industry, and be an organised and motivated individual with a strong attention to detail. Experience in paid social media, reporting and analytics is necessary. Excellent people skills are vital in order to build collaborative relationships within the organisation.
This role will report to the Global Consumer Engagement Manager and will be supported by the Global Social Media Co-ordinator and Trainee.
Job Requirements
o Creatively and proactively engage consumers online to drive brand conversations and consumer relationships, utilising a brand-appropriate tone of voice
o On a regular basis, identify issues, patterns and trends in consumer comments/enquiries and funnel information to the appropriate departments
o Measure, synthesize, and share social media performance using standardised social media metrics; develop related recommendations
Core Skills
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a very well established social media background including an understanding of global channels; preferably within the luxury industry. Previous international experience and management of a global budget is essential. Excellent people skills, with a credible track record in mentoring, are vital in order to build collaborative relationships within a geographically stretched matrix organisation. Lastly faultless attention to detail is a must.
