Jo Malone London has an exciting opportunity within the Global Communications & Consumer Engagement department for an Assistant Manager position, reporting to the Global Communications Manager. This role is based at the Gloucester Place offices in Marylebone.

The primary responsibility will be to support the Global Communications Manager and team in rolling out the brand strategy to established, new and emerging markets, fuelling global brand awareness and positioning as well as the continual development of the brand’s profile as the leading British fragrance and lifestyle house. The candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with the communications teams in specified markets, ensuring regular contact and support in implementing global strategy to support local business.

Qualifications

You must be a strategic and creative thinker with an unfaltering background in communications. First-hand experience in developing and implementing award winning communications strategies to drive consumer engagement across social and print media is a must. A keen interest and understanding of social media and the digital influencer landscape is required as well as experience in measuring social performance.

You will be required to assist in the organisation of high profile global PR events and supporting markets with local press events. Collating reports and delivering proven ROI post event is required. You should have an established communications background with experience, preferably within the luxury beauty, interiors, lifestyle or fashion industry. You will have excellent communication, organisational and writing skills in addition to faultless attention to detail. Previous international experience would be an advantage as well as a proven ability to network and build relationships.

This role is based within both a fast paced department and brand; multi-tasking whilst maintaining a strong, strategic and holistic overview of all markets is critical to success.
