Jo Malone London is recruiting for a Global Communications Director.

This is a central role within the Global Communications Team, responsible for devising and rolling out the global communications strategy to established, new and emerging markets, ensuring global brand awareness, positioning and the continual development of the brand’s profile as the leading British fragrance and lifestyle house. In cascading the global communications strategy the candidate must have the strategic mind-set to adapt strategy to service local nuances and business needs as required.

The position will be responsible for ensuring the communications strategy aids the business across all stages of the consumer funnel whilst helping devise and implement a global ambassador and influencer program to strategically drive key target demographics for the brand.

The right candidate will be highly strategic with a creative flair who empowers and mentors the team around, developing internal capabilities to continually execute first class communication campaigns. A strategic approach to budgeting is essential, ensuring spend in line with global brand strategy and with proven ROI.

Experience in crisis management is required with a proven track record in anticipating and advising brands on all relevant issues with potential to affect, its image or sales.

This is a key role within a very fast paced department and brand; multi-tasking whilst maintaining a strong, strategic and holistic overview is critical to success. The successful candidate will have an established communications background; preferably within the luxury beauty, interiors, lifestyle or fashion industry. They will have excellent communication, organisational and mentoring skills in addition to faultless attention to detail. Previous international experience is required with an understanding of global business dynamics.
