The Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager / Account Director to join Hunter Grace and lead across PR and influencer partnerships in the beauty and wellness space, working in particular on the iconic Sol de Janeiro.

In this senior-level role, you'll take ownership of media and influencer relations, oversee regular high-impact paid campaign execution, and drive brand storytelling that enhances reputation, builds awareness, and supports key business goals. You'll bring top-tier industry contacts, identify strategic opportunities, and deliver meaningful coverage and partnerships across traditional, influencer, and paid media.

Day-to-day, you’ll manage client relationships with a nurturing, expert approach—acting as a trusted advisor and inspirational team leader. You'll stay ahead of trends across social platforms, affiliate, and paid media, promoting your clients’ stories with a creative, 360° perspective.

As part of the senior team, you’ll help shape business strategy, lead with commercial acumen, and support internal growth by mentoring junior team members and ensuring efficient, high-quality delivery across all projects. You’ll be the go-to for your clients on all things PR & Comms, fully embodying the Hunter Grace values in everything you do.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Responsibility and strategic leadership across all designated clients day to day as a trusted PR expert delivering excellent service and results.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement PR and influencer strategies that align with brand goals and key launch moments.
  • Paid Influencer Campaigns: Lead strategy and execution for paid and organic influencer partnerships, ensuring alignment with brand values and objectives.
  • Media & Influencer Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with journalists and influencers ensuring strong ongoing coverage and visibility.
  • New Business: Develop and write strategic proposals. Strong creative presentation skills and the ability to create engaging and visually exciting decks that enthral the client when pitching in proposals and PR plans that need sign off
  • Brand Storytelling: Identify and capitalise on media trends with the ability able to build conversations for clients across all media platforms
  • Event Management: Oversee press and influencer events, from concept to execution, ensuring seamless delivery and strong ROI.
  • Team Development: Manage and mentor junior team members, providing support and guidance to elevate team performance.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Measure PR and influencer activity, providing insights and recommendations for future optimisation
  • Budget Management: Overseeing the communications budget, including influencer partnerships, press events, and agency retainers, ensuring ROI and cost efficiency.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for creative output across mailouts, press events and activations alongside any client communication
  • Brand Partnerships: Identify and secure brand collaborations that enhance brand equity and extend reach.

     

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in PR, communications, and influencer partnerships.
  • Experience working with beauty and wellness brands.
  • Strong network of press and influencer contacts within the beauty industry.
  • Proven track record of securing top-tier media coverage and executing influencer partnerships.
  • Excellent storytelling ability and strategic thinking.
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication, management and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
