Alongside our event clients, our HCMembership thrives, enabling global hair and beauty experts to use HCLocations to run their businesses collectively within our industry-leading co-work spaces.

We are searching for a creative, enthusiastic, and driven Sales Executive & Events Booker to join our team. They will take on responsibility for all aspects of events held in HCLocations from sales and marketing to onsite event management and customer relationships. The successful applicant will be ambitious and will relish the opportunity to grow revenue by connecting with exciting new brands, whilst also being passionate about providing clients with the best possible service and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new clients and opportunities to ensure HC spaces are booked and revenue targets met.
  • Actively promote and manage HC spaces on listings websites, agencies as well as at trade events and in publications.
  • Create, update, and organise marketing communications and promotional material to attract and retain clients e.g., newsletter, press releases, mail outs, social media posts.
  • Respond to and manage event enquiries and bookings from all sources e.g., phone, e-mail, online.
  • Set up meetings and tours of HC spaces for prospective clients.
  • Provide quotes and contracts, secure bookings, and keep timely and accurate records of all booked events and the current pipeline, ensuring the shared calendar is up to date.
  • Work closely with the finance team to invoice clients and monitor payments received.
  • Provide a professional, efficient, friendly, and welcoming service to clients. Support and guide clients when required and always ensure excellent standards of service.
  • Ensure HCTeam are prepared and onsite to welcome and deliver excellent client experience on event days, while ensuring clients are happy within the space and that their expectations are exceeded.
  • Ensure everything runs smoothly operationally on an event day from beginning to end and that the aesthetics, tidiness, and organisation of the spaces is maintained.
  • Build and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective clients to maximise customer satisfaction and loyalty and encourage repeat bookings. Closely monitor feedback.
  • Carry out competitor analysis and research and gather information on market trends ensuring HC’s offering is dynamic, relevant, and best in industry.

Team Player

  • Liaise with Operations Manager and Finance Director to communicate opportunities, confirmed events, client requirements and onsite team delivery.
  • Deliver post-event reports as standard to communicate the summary of the client feedback and team achievements. Highlighting concerns and improvements where required.

Experience required

  • Proven track record in event sales and management, ideally within high-end service, hospitality, personal care, or retail sectors.
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional marketing and promotion skills and strong commercial acumen.
  • Organised, resourceful and able to work well under pressure with good attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive. Able to work both independently and in a small team, delegating tasks where required.
  • Proficient with event booking and CRM software, Microsoft Office, and all social media platforms.

General working practice

  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation when with team and clients.
  • Represent Hunter Collective in a professional manner at all times.
  • Initiate, facilitate, and monitor effective communication across all internal comms and client channels
  • Undertake all responsibilities with reference to Hunter Collective event hire procedures.
  • Ensure safe working area and work procedures in line with Hunter Collective Health and Safety Policy.
  • Obtain necessary authority for expenses and record in line with Hunter Collective Policy.
  • Undertake any reasonable duties as specified by the Directors and Operations Manager of Hunter Collective.

Job title: Sales Executive / Events Booker (Maternity Cover, Full-Time)

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 a year based on experience (a salary-plus-commission role)

Job Type: Maternity Cover, 1 year, Full-Time, immediate start

Qualifications: 2 years minimum of sales experience Location: Combination of remote and onsite London zone one.

Hours: flexible / client - event dependent Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays per annum
