What’s the Job?

ghd are recruiting for an experienced, motivated and passionate PR Executive to join the high performing in-house PR team in London. Supporting the PR Manager and working across the Global and UK teams, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a can-do attitude and proactive nature.

Knowledge and interest in social influencers, press/influencer contacts, and a passion for the beauty industry are essential.

What will I do?

• Work alongside the PR Manager to implement all UK PR strategies, launches and events to a high standard 
• Support with the creation of global toolkits, press releases and other key assets, to help shape the PR for the brand globally
• Support with all PR events (Global and UK)  
• Continually develop press and influencer contacts
• Outreach to influencers and journalists to secure coverage for the brand across all media touchpoints 
• React promptly to all UK press requests
• Attend PR brainstorming/planning meetings and present forward thinking ideas 
• Monitor and manage all press cuttings, ensuring distribution to key stakeholders
• Create regular reports using My Market Insight and Gorkana to showcase results 
• Manage and oversee product send-outs, stock and send-out calendar  
• Manage PR intern/assistant 

What skills and qualities will I need?

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Minimum of three years’ beauty PR experience
• Influencer and press contacts 
• An eye for detail and accuracy
• Strong writing skills
• Press event experience
