What is the Job?

ghd are recruiting for an experienced, motivated, and passionate PR Executive to join the high performing in-house Global PR team in London. Supporting the Global Head of PR & Corporate Affairs, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a can-do attitude and proactive nature to join a leading beauty brand celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Knowledge and interest in social influencers and a passion for the beauty industry are essential.

What will I do?

• Support with global strategy, asset & toolkit creation, to help shape PR for the brand globally.
• Input innovative ideas for campaigns to deliver growth across all press and influencer KPI’s. 
• Work closely alongside global marketing and social teams to amplify all global PR/Influencer activities 
• Event planning support & management for global events & activations – delivering events to a high standard (upcoming global events in Milan, London & Shanghai)
• Support with global fashion week partnerships, to maximise fashion week partnerships & comms globally. 
• Support Global Head of PR across corporate communications & manage corporate communications calendar.
• Support with global influencer activations - using tools to identify influencers that will help increase brand awareness for ghd globally.
• Become main point of contact for global markets with day-to-day requests, particularly supporting new and emerging markets 
• Oversee global hair stylist ambassador relations & admin.
• Manage global reporting using specific reporting tools (Tribe Dynamics, Gorkana)
• Manage all global PR admin – POs, invoices, design briefs etc

What skills and qualities will I need?

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years beauty, fashion or luxury PR experience
• Influencer and press contacts 
• An eye for detail and accuracy
• Strong writing skills
• Press event experience 
• Toolkit creation experience 
• Motivated, passionate, and hard working
• Highly organised 
• Ability to work under pressure within deadlines.
• Creative, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
• Passionate about the ghd brand and beauty/hair industry
• Good communicator both verbally and in written form
