Fuel Public Relations are looking for a passionate, hard-working and dynamic Account Executive to join the agency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty, wellbeing and lifestyle and will be expected to work across several accounts within the company. The candidate will manage the day to day running of the accounts, maximising existing relationships with key media to drive quality coverage across all clients. This position is ideal for those with at least one year of PR experience working across beauty, wellbeing and lifestyle brands. The successful candidate will have previous agency experience working at Account Executive level.

The role is a hybrid role, working up to three days from our office in Wandsworth Common.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day communication with all clients with support from Associate Director
• Capitalise on relationships with key journalists and titles
• Ability to proactively generate ideas to pitch to the press/client that will benefit their business
• Competent writer across all written materials
• Be proactive in all media areas for clients, constantly looking for opportunities where additional media coverage could be achieved above and beyond the client’s brief
• Contribute to client and internal meetings
• Confident in creating social media content, monitoring client social media channels and knowledge of affiliate programmes
• Monitor the media heavily to ensure that you have a thorough knowledge of journalists, what they have written recently, regular features and opportunities

The Ideal Candidate:

• At least one years’ experience in the communications industry
• Relevant degree in PR/Comms/Humanities based
• Excellent can do attitude and ready to hit the ground running
• Multitasker with great time/organisational skills
• Strong writing, communication, and language skills
• Results driven to ensure KPIs are met
• Creative and passionate about all things beauty and have a knowledge of the media landscape incl. traditional/social titles
• Excellent media relation and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and across several accounts
• Contribute positively in a very effective teamwork environment
• Friendly, hardworking and positive outlook
