Fuel Public Relations are looking for a passionate, hard-working and dynamic Account Executive to join the Beauty Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty, wellbeing and lifestyle and will be expected to work across several accounts within the company. The candidate will support the day to day running of the accounts, building relationships with key media and drive quality coverage across all clients. This position is ideal for those with 1-2 years of PR experience working across beauty and lifestyle brands and social awareness campaigns.

The successful candidate will have previous agency experience working at Assistant or Account Executive level.

The role is hybrid, working three days in the office in Wandsworth, and two from home.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Day-to-day communication with all clients with support from Account Lead
2. Build relationships with key journalists and titles
3. Proactively think of ideas to pitch to the press/client that will benefit their business
4. Create press materials including e-blasts, press releases, target media lists, etc.
5. Handle press enquiries proactively, quickly and with attention to detail
6. Secure quality coverage for clients and meet client KPIs
7. Excellent knowledge of the industry, competitors and media landscape
8. Contribute to client and internal meetings
9. Help coordinate creative mailers, support client events and press appointments
10. Confident in creating social media content, monitoring client social media channels and knowledge of affiliate programmes
11. Monitor the media heavily to ensure that you have a thorough knowledge of journalists, what they have written recently, regular features and opportunities

     

The Ideal Candidate:

1. At least 1-2 years’ experience in the communications industry
2. Relevant degree in PR/Comms/Humanities based
3. Excellent can do attitude and ready to hit the ground running
4. Multitasker with great time/organisational skills
5. Strong writing, communication, and language skills
6. Results driven to ensure KPIs are met
7. Creative and passionate about all things beauty and have a knowledge of the media landscape incl. traditional/social titles
8. Excellent media relation and communication skills
9. Ability to work under pressure and across several accounts
10. Contribute positively in a very effective teamwork environment
11. Friendly, hardworking and positive outlook
