We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated self-starter to join the PR team at Flipside PR. The role will provide an opportunity to work across all our beauty, lifestyle and aesthetic brands and be involved in all aspects of PR from press office support to press events.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

This role will support the PR Communications team to ensure the smooth running of the busy press office.

• Support the PR team in the execution of PR strategy for all brands including events and product launches
• Pitching stories to the media and identifying and generating coverage opportunities to hit client KPI’s
• Monitor the press and news agenda to keep abreast of new developments and updates in relevant sectors
• Maintain and create media lists and editorial calendars
• Identify and outreach to Influencers
• Assist in the creation of content for Flipside’s social media.
• Monitor & record print, digital & social media coverage
• Assist with the organisation of press events including managing invites attendance and confirming attendees
• Produce weekly and monthly PR reports
• Arrange and attend regular meetings with press
• Work closely with the Communications Director & Communications Manager of PR to ensure a productive working relationship
• Assist with research for new business projects and pitches.

Requirements:

• Experience of working in or demonstrated knowledge of the beauty & lifestyle sector
• A minimum of one year’s work experience with a beauty PR company
• Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with great attention to detail
• Excellent creative writing skills
• Strong interest in beauty, wellness, and aesthetics.
• Great media contacts and a desire to make more
• A keen interest in and awareness of the media and current trends
• Willingness to learn, be proactive and use initiative
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Canva
