We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join Origins & Darphin Paris as soon as possible. The role reports directly to the General Manager and manages a team of three.

The successful candidate will drive key KPIs across print, digital and social influencers, lead our eventing calendar and play an active role in shaping brand partnerships and consumer-facing executions to maximize earned media and build brand equity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Manage strong 360-degree influencer and new media strategies that align with sales and equity objectives using an integrated cross-functional approach alongside Marketing, Online and Sales
• Manage the execution of all major UK media and influencer events, creating unforgettable brand activations
• Lead a high performance team with a digital-first approach to test and learn in social and digital to find new ways to connect with the consumer
• Secure best-in-class coverage across target print and digital media to actively drive brand sales and growth
• Cultivate formal and informal brand ambassadors to maximize relevancy and improved positioning for the brand in partnership with Marketing
• Ensure excellent relationships with top UK influencers and key media at the Beauty Director and Editor levels
• Issue limitation: act as frontline spokesperson to manage controversial press queries or issues concerning the brand
• Build and oversee the annual PR budget, in line with the strategy, and ensure expenditure is effective
• Manage the execution of local brand partnerships, including collaborations in partnership with Marketing, Online and Sales
• Manage campaign content collaborations with top influencers
• Work alongside marketing to secure brand & lifestyle partnerships that maximise earned media and elevate the brand

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

• Highly creative, pro-active and self-motivated
• Excellent senior beauty, social, celebrity and influencer contacts
• A passion for skincare and beauty, with expertise in the field
• Experience in luxury brands highly valuable
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Exemplary writing, editing, networking, and event management skills
