EMERGE have an opening for a savvy, go getter Senior Account Executive to work across the agency's fashion accounts. From jewellery, to athleisure, to rental, resale and RTW, you will be working closely with some of the most exciting brands in the market.

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Writing: Press releases, pitches and input into strategy decks
• Pitching: News, product drops and campaigns across print, online, broadcast, national and consumer press, you will be a media hound, creative thinker and able to place widespread client coverage.
• Client management: Calls and emails from clients on day to day activity and wider account strategy.
• Media monitoring: Coverage and reporting results into the team and clients
• Events and Networking: Attending client and industry events, encouraged to meet with media regularly and build a little black book of contacts
• KOLs and Influencers: Where required, management of talent content, contracts and gifting
• Client Events: Support the execution of key clients events from dinners to parties, to work out classes.
• Creative brainstorms: Consistent and proactive approach to client work providing fresh ideas around campaigns, strategy and landing coverage

Key skills

• English language fluency: You need to have excellent written and spoken English.
• Copywriting skills: You need to be hot on spelling, grammar and proof-reading, as well as have a creative flair for producing engaging copy.
• Presentation skills: From communicating ideas to your team to presenting stories to clients and journalists, you need to organise information in a succinct and interesting way to capture their attention.
• Strong interpersonal skills: Whether it’s over the phone, by email or in person, PR is all about people, so you need to be approachable, friendly and empathetic, and be able to relate to people on different levels within the agency, with clients and with the media.
• Time-keeping: You will often be working to tight media deadlines as well as meeting the demands and pressures of your team and clients, so you need to be able to work quickly and efficiently, without compromising on quality.

Qualifications

A relevant undergraduate degree such as PR, journalism or English Literature is normally expected but not essential. PR qualifications from the PRCA or Chartered Institute of Public Relations can also boost your knowledge either as an alternative to a degree or at postgraduate level.

Relevant experience

At least 1 year prior experience working in a PR agency, press office or fast-paced media environment is required, and working on fashion brands.
