EMERGE HIRING FOR ACCOUNT DIRECTORS
The EMERGE team is growing! We are looking for two Account Directors to join our team - one for the fashion and beauty side, working on brands such as Astrid + Miyu, Annabel's, P.E. Nation, Radley, OMNES, and one for the consumer lifestyle team working on Grind, TRIP, Wild, MOJU, Candy Kittens, Yonder and more.
THE ROLE
As part of senior management, an Account Director should be able to:
- Autonomously devise and deliver PR strategies
- Confidently manage client relationships
- Be responsible for generating all PR outcomes for clients within their team
- Be instrumental in the development, evolution + delivery of your brands’ PR strategy alongside your clients
- Monitor KPIs and consistently look for ways in which we can pivot and innovate to achieve our clients awareness objectives
- Adept at building relationships with key commentators, industry spokespeople and senior journalists
- They direct and lead PR projects and provide counsel to their clients and team alike
Commercially minded and creative in nature, an Account Director at EMERGE will support the Agency CEO and Directors in their roles, including pitching for new business and growing existing accounts.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4 years’ experience preferably handling multiple fashion, beauty and/or consumer lifestyle brands with outstanding communication skills
- Experience with a wide range of moments in a brand cycle, for example, fundraising announcements, trade launches + consumer coverage.
- A strong industry network and contacts with senior journalists, editors, talents, influencers and talent managers
- Proven track record of successfully implementing PR campaigns for a range of clients
- Strong and confident presenter and adept at explaining PR terms and outcomes to mid-level and senior players
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure remaining positive and available for the team
- Highly engaged in contemporary culture i.e. music, fashion, art + design, restaurants
- Management experience in developing star performers and overseeing performance through goal setting, performance monitoring and reviews
- Driven, ambitious and willing to contribute to the business.
