BACKGROUND TO THE ROLE
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced PR & Influencer Marketing Manager to support on the UK’s no.1 mass cosmetics brand – Rimmel London. The role is responsible for maximising awareness and building advocacy with key opinion leaders and online communities. You’ll work closely with the Senior PR/IM Manager to support the creation and implementation of integrated plans that significantly accerlerate brand reach, EMV and drive brand growth ambitions in the UK market.
- Manage relationships with influencers, influencer agents and press to keep the brand front of mind to drive organic coverage and social mentions
- Devise effective local PR & Influencer Marketing strategies inline with marketing plans
- Strong execution of PR/IM events, VIP gifting and mass seeding programmes
- Management of measurement platforms to ensure we’re driving EMV vs. competitors and reporting results back to the business
- Brainstorm and trial innovative and creative influencer marketing campaigns
- Work closely with the digital, e-comm , local brand and global IM teams to ensure the IM strategy aligns with the digital agenda/vision in terms of launch priorities and retailer support
- Identify and manage key external partners to help deliver on strategic objectives
- Management of external third party influencer marketing & event production/logistics agencies, to deliver best in class campaigns and projects aligned with Rimmel’s strategic objectives
- Have your finger on the pulse and pro-actively share emerging trends, platforms and KOLs within the influencer marketing space
- Closely monitor and analyse competitor activations to drive informed decisions with local strategy
- Close management of the PR/IM budget, ensuring all initiatives have effective cost control and drive ROI for the business
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
- Experience within the PR/Influencer Marketing beauty industry
- Great contacts with key opinion leaders within the beauty and lifestyle industry
- Strong analytical skills and data driven strategic thinking
- Proven ability to strategically build brand love with the influencer marketing space
- A passion for beauty and inclusivity
- Previous project management skills and the ability to multi-task within a fast paced environment
