We are looking for a Senior PR & Influencer Marketing Manager to be part of Coty’s exciting journey to grow and become a true game changer in prestige skincare. This role will have the opportunity to drive the communications vision for an illustrious portfolio of brands, namely Lancaster, Orveda and philosophy.

PURPOSE

Coty is a world leader in beauty and home to an illustrious roster of cosmetic, skincare and fragrance brands. Our two divisions – Coty Consumer and Coty Prestige – build a varied portfolio of iconic global brands as well as much loved regional brands. Coty Prestige focuses on prestige fragrance, prestige cosmetics and skincare with brands including BOSS, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Burberry, Lancaster & Orveda while Coty Consumer focuses on mass colour cosmetics, body care and mass fragrances with brands including Rimmel, Max Factor, Bourjois and Sally Hansen.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a creative, talented, and passionate PR/IM Senior Manager to manage a selection of luxury skincare brands within the Coty Prestige division. The role will report into the PR & Communications Lead and be responsible for implementing PR/IM strategies predominantly for luxury skincare brands, including Lancaster & Orveda with a strong focus on PR, digital and social communications.

MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the PR & Comms Lead with driving the UK PR & IM vision and agenda for the key Coty skincare brands
  • Building and maintaining excellent press, media, KOL & Influencer relations across print, online, social while identifying gaps: Beauty Editor/ Director level, freelancers, mid-/top tier influencers and agents
  • Cultivate formal and informal brand ambassadors to maximize relevancy and improved positioning for the brand in partnership with Marketing
  • Executing influencer partnerships from beginning to end in line with strict brand guidelines.
  • Managing PR & IM budget for the relevant brands ensuring all press launches and initiatives have effective cost control and deliver high ROI
  • Manage and lead effective local event management, creating unforgettable brand activations and support IM lead in implementing immersive experiences with content control at the heart
  • Strong strategic thinking in influencer mapping and identification to work on brand activations, to attend local/international IM events and to bring the brands high value ROI - generating maximum coverage on relevant media channels.
  • Track and monitor brand performance and share regular reports across the teams using the external tracking platforms.
  • Manage & mentor Junior team member to ensure smooth running of press office – with tasks including setting up Influencer vendors and raising PO’s accordingly and oversee assistant in invoice process for the team, manage work-load of team member
  • Managing the implementation of new launches and always on seeding by ensuring press materials and stock are available in line with the launch calendar.
  • Oversee the management of our third-party suppliers to ensure mailings are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work closely with the digital/e-comm /local brand teams to ensure the IM strategy aligns with the digital agenda/vision in terms of launch calendar and retailer support.
  • Creative and proactive thinking to push our brands visibility.
  • A passion for inclusion and true pioneer for diversity with an awareness of the changing face of beauty.

THE COTY IDEAL FIT

  • Minimum of 5years PR experience (agency / in-house) with a proven background in Luxury / Beauty PR and IM being essential, with a previous focus on skincare
  • The ability to work across multiple brands in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt well to change and multi-task
  • Strong media contact knowledge across print, online, digital and influencers / agents
  • Effectively manage and take ownership of IM budget, ensuring all launches and initiatives deliver high ROI, also overseeing invoice process
  • Forge strong working relationships with Global IM teams, following set practices and processes for approval of UK participation with both local and global activations
  • Is a change champion and pioneers’ new ideas and approaches, with ability to demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking in approaching new and innovative ways of execution
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activity and activity within the competitive beauty landscape-In-depth knowledge, understanding and a passion for social media and trends in the social media space
  • Self-motivated and ability to demonstrate strong sense of individual accountability
  • Strong team player and collaborates easily with others, willing to help and learn from others and shares relevant information with the team
  • Experience in devising and implementing strategic plans
  • Strong industry and cultural awareness
  • Excellent leadership, management and communication skills
