We’re looking for a PR Assistant (with a passion and keen interest in the beauty, aesthetic and medical sectors) to support the team, mainly working alongside the company director. 

As a PR assistant at Cosmetic PR, you’ll be expected to have a ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent writing and presentation skills, you’ll be responsive and reliable, and most importantly be willing to learn, and grow within the business. The ideal candidate will have some experience in a PR agency, preferably in beauty/skincare or aesthetics. 

You’ll be expected to manage all product send outs, arrange press treatment reviews, draft press releases and media alerts, manage the company databases, support with admin tasks, develop and maintain relationships with the press, and be proactive in supporting the team. 

Key skills:

• Have at least 1 year experience preferably in Beauty PR/Aesthetics PR
• Excellent writing skills and a creative mindset 
• Strong organisation skills
• Ideally some experience in using mail-chimp and Canva
• Keen to learn and build a long term career in PR
• An outgoing personality and a ‘can do’ attitude
• Proficient with Google drive, MACs, MS office, basic Excel/Numbers skills
• Social media savvy

Competitive salary, dependent on experience Big potential for growth  Working from home to start (weekly Zoom team meetings) the ideal candidate will be available to work at least one day a week in Hertfordshire (Hertford), alongside company director.
